Shire are currently supporting a well-known and respected organisation with the recruitment of a Speech and Language Therapist. Our client is a specialist provider of rehabilitation services that provide holistic support to adults with neurological conditions. This service in particular provides a whole range of services to 25 individuals with acquired brain injuries.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established, successful team as a Speech Therapist. You will be required to play a lead role in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of adults with acquired brain injury, social- communication impairments and challenging behaviour. You will be required to work closely with a motivated and talented team including OT professionals, Psychologists, Doctors and Rehab Support Workers. The aim is to ensure users of the service are reaching their absolute individual potential.
In order to apply for this role, you must be dysphagia trained with a minimum of 1-2 years post qualifying experience – those with neurological experienced within acute, rehab or community will be at a huge advantage.

This role is full-time – 37.5 hours per week although those with the relevant experience could possibly work condensed hours or part-time.
