Speech and Language Therapist – mainstream school

A part-time Speech and Language Therapist is currently required by one of our clients based in East Sussex. This is a 2 day per week, term-time only, permanent position working with a mainstream school.

A committed and passionate individual will join the inclusion team to develop the provision for pupils with speech, language and communication needs.

The successful Speech and Language Therapist will be expected to:

  • provide assessment, diagnosis and intervention to children
  • liaise with school staff, parents, carers and other professionals regarding the speech, language and communication needs of the pupils
  • support and promote a Speech and Language rich environment throughout the academy.

Applicants must hold a relevant qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and Royal College of Speech and Language Therapy (RCSLT).
