Educational Psychologist – mainstream school

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a HCPC registered Educational Psychologist to work with a group of primary and secondary schools across Norfolk and Suffolk.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be working with the director of inclusion, senior leadership teams, safeguarding teams, and central education teams across primary and secondary schools with the view to building strong relationships. The key focuses of this newly created role are SEND, attendance and meeting the needs of every child.

The purpose of this role is to prevent additional and/or special educational needs and requirements developing, whilst intervening at an early stage where additional/special educational needs and requirements are identified and met.

Hours – full time

Salary – £41,000 – £50,000 FTE

Experience required:

Candidates applying will have experience working in a similar setting and with a passion to improve standards of support for children and young people. HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist is essential.
