Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist – eating disorders

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to work within an eating disorders service in Worcestershire who have an overall CQC rating of “Good.”

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be working across inpatient and day patient services for adolescent and young adults who present with an eating disorder including Bulimia Nervosa, Anorexia Nervosa and Avoidant Restive Food Intake Disorder.

The post holder will offer assessments, formulation and treatment. Therapeutic interventions may include brief, medium or long-term psychotherapy.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – Both full time and part time will be considered.

Salary – up to £47,000 FTE

Experience required:

Clinical, Counselling and Forensic Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration and experience working with eating disorders. Those who have an interest in working within this setting and have the confidence and transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
