Clinical, Educational, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist – specialist care

Shire Healthcare are working in partnership with a leading provider of specialist care and education recruiting to a permanent opportunity for a ClinicalEducational Forensic or Counselling Psychologist based in South Lancashire.

About the employer:

This employer is an independent leading provider of specialist care and education. They work with children and young people in either an educational or residential setting who have SEMH, ASD, ADHD and complex learning needs. Their approach is putting the child first and providing a unique in-school therapy solution.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be working within an MDT, the role will include:

  • Conduct psychological assessments.
  • Create plans for specialist psychological interventions.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy.
  • Managing assistant psychologists and support workers
  • Working with care staff, families, and social services

Hours – part time, full time and term time will be considered.

Salary – £44,000 – £62,200 FTE

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration along with experience working with children and young people who present with trauma, Neurodevelopmental conditions and special educational needs.
