Shire Healthcare are recruiting for Clinical Director to work within a looked after children’s service in Merseyside.
The candidate appointed will be responsible for the clinical leadership for the clinical service who work with children in care. The post holder will be responsible for the clinical practice of service pathways working with heads of service, head teacher, educational and managing director to ensure a high-quality clinical service is maintained.
Due to the nature of the role, travel will be required to various homes across Merseyside. Key components of the job include:

Professions considered – Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist and Psychotherapist
Contract type – permanent
Hours – Part time or full time will be considered.
Salary – up to £70,000 FTE
HCPC registration or UKCP accreditation is mandatory. Applicants applying will have experience of managing services for children and young people who present with learning disabilities, mental health including trauma and behavioural difficulties.
